Maria was born in 1746, daughter of Michael <Arent> Van Schaick, who was born October 1715 and married Maria Magdalena "Lena" Van Schaick.^[1]

Maria married Arent Van Wormer, 16 Jan 1761, Zion Lutheran Church, Loonenburg (now Athens), Greene County, New York.
